TrueSlot (the “App”) is operated by Web Designly Ltd (“we”, “us”). The App helps Shopify merchants offer delivery and pickup date/time scheduling at checkout. This policy explains what personal data the App processes on a merchant’s behalf, why, and how it is handled.

What we collect

When a shopper schedules a delivery or pickup, and when a merchant’s paid order is processed, the App accesses and stores the minimum data needed to provide scheduling:

• Order details (order name/ID, delivery method, and the chosen delivery/pickup date and time slot)
• Customer name and email address (used to send confirmation and reminder emails)
• Delivery address postal code (used only to validate delivery areas at checkout, when enabled)
• The merchant’s store domain and the scheduling settings they configure

Why we use it

• To record and display each order’s scheduled delivery or pickup to the merchant
• To send order confirmation and reminder emails to the customer (when the merchant enables them)
• To validate that a delivery address is within the merchant’s allowed areas (when enabled)
• To tag orders with their delivery details for the merchant’s fulfillment workflow

We process only the data required for these features and do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Where it is stored

We use Cloudflare and other trusted service providers to host the App, store its data, send emails, and run support. The App works within Shopify, which keeps the record of your orders and customers.

Retention and deletion

Booking records are retained while the App is installed so merchants can manage upcoming and recent deliveries. We honor Shopify’s privacy webhooks: on a customer redaction request we erase that customer’s name and email from our records, and shortly after a store uninstalls we automatically delete all of that store’s data.

Customer rights

Customers can ask the merchant to access or delete their data; the merchant’s request flows to us through Shopify’s compliance webhooks and we act on it accordingly.

Support messages

If a merchant contacts us by email or through the App’s support chat, we keep those messages so we can reply and improve support. The chat is answered first by an automated assistant and escalated to our support team when needed.
